Johnson City Classes!

Students have long commuted to Kingsport Ballet from an over 60-mile radius. We are excited to expand our reach into Johnson City by offering Kingsport Ballet classes at Soluna Sage! As we get our Johnson City class offerings off the ground, only a small number of classes will be available. As demand grows, so will our offerings! Please let us know if there is a class you’re hoping to see come to Johnson City.

Kingsport Ballet classes at Soluna Sage will take place every Wednesday for Dance Movement, Prep I/II, and Ballet I/II. The schedule is as follows:

KB Dance Movement Class (DM3/4) for 3-4 year olds: 3:45–4:30 pm

KB Prep I/II Class for 5-6 year olds: 4:30–5:30 pm

Soluna Sage Yoga class: 5:45–6:45 pm

KB BI/II (Ballet I/II) for 7-10 year olds: 7:00–8:00 pm WED

Johnson City Ballet Class Offerings

The following are the classes and times available for Johnson City classes. If your level is not included in these offerings, please reach out to us and let us know what you’d like to see offered! We are looking to grow this opportunity – with more demand, we hope to add more offerings near you!

Classes in Johnson City are held at Soluna Sage, 333 E Main St, Second Floor, Johnson City, TN 37601. The studio is located on the second floor.

Dance Movement (ages 3 + 4), Wednesdays, 3:45 – 4:30 pm

Prep I/II (ages 5 + 6), Wednesdays, 4:30 – 5:30 pm

BI/II (ages 7–10), Wednesdays, 7:00 – 8:00 pm

FAQs

  • Johnson City classes are limited and are on a first-come, first-served basis. We are currently only offering classes for Dance Movement, Prep I/II and Ballet I/II in Johnson City.

  • You will register by filling out the form here. The registration form is the same for both Kingsport and Johnson City. You will only be prompted to select the Johnson City location if the level of your dancer is offered in Johnson City (Dance Movement, Prep I/II, and Ballet I/II only).

  • We are hoping to offer more classes in Johnson City as demand grows. Please let us know if you're interested in JC classes and we will let you know if/when they become available!

  • We have partnered with Soluna Sage to offer our JC classes. If you wish to take yoga, you must register and pay separately through Soluna Sage. Class space is limited and not guaranteed and must be reserved in advance.

  • Class levels are typically determined by age. As students get older, classes can also be determined by experience and skill. If you would like help determining your student’s class level, you may request an evaluation so that our teachers can gauge their current abilities and place them in the level that would best fit your student.
