The School - Tuition
- Payment is due the first class of the month and by the 10th of the month. Late fee of $5.00 per month.
- Our school goes to great lengths to keep unnecessary expenses to a minimum. Costume fees of approximately $35 for ballet productions go toward offsetting incidentals in preparing costumes and accessories, head pieces, props and cleaning fees for costumes that belong to the company. Classical tutus cost upwards of $300 each and belong to the organization. However, many other costumes are made each year and added to the repertoire. Costumes purchased in full by the students for pieces performed in the year-end Spring Concert (recital) become property of the student.
- Tuition is based on 36 weeks of classes. Some months have only 3 weeks of classes (i.e. December) while others have 5. Tuition will be the same each month, and you will receive instruction for 36 weeks of classes (or 9 weeks equivalent to 4 week months)
- Should you choose to discontinue lessons, please let us know. We must assume you are taking class and are enrolled in the school unless we hear otherwise. Therefore, as a general policy, you will be responsible for tuition until we are notified.
- Make-up lessons due to illness, out-of-town trips, etc., are strongly encouraged. Please ask your teacher for the appropriate class in which to make up. On occasion, we must reschedule a class (i.e. snow). We will schedule a make-up lesson so that you receive your full 36 weeks.
- Payment for Spring Concert costumes must be made in January when orders are placed. This fee in not refundable.
