Ms. Tamlyn Bernshausen
Ms. Bernshausen is a native of East Tennessee. She studied in New York at the American Ballet Theatre School with Leon Danileon and Patricia Wilde as well as the Harkness House with David Howard. She began her professional career with the Berkshire Ballet of Massachusetts and later the Milwaukee Ballet in Wisconsin. Ms. Bernshaussen has also taught and choreographed for the Chattanooga Ballet. She served as Artistic Director of both the Melrose Youth Ballet and the Worcester Youth Ballet, as well as Director of Dance of the Performing Arts School in Worcester. In 2001 she moved back to East Tennessee with her twin sons. She teaches ballet at the Kingsport Ballet and works with young dancers in the school.
