Kingsport Ballet is primarily a classical ballet school offering jazz and modern, in addition to the core ballet curriculum. Ms. Valeria Sinyavksaya serves as Ballet Mistress and Artistic Director, and specializes in the Vaganova method of classical ballet. Boys classes, partnering, ballroom, Pilates, and other specialty classes enable us to meet the needs of dancers at all levels and ranges of interest.  Our purpose is to provide a complete, well-rounded education, regardless of the students’ future plans in dance. We strive to tailor our instruction to fit the needs of dancers wanting to dance recreationally as well as those who plan to further their training beyond high school.

Kingsport Ballet’s focus is in teaching correct technique, proper body alignment and terminology. The discipline that is gained in training is a valuable tool that students take away with them for use in all areas of life. We feel that the enjoyment and satisfaction gleaned through the art of dance is intensified when the foundation of teaching is built on a solid curriculum using correct technique.
