Rostislav Dzabraev received his diploma as a professional ballet artist from the State Classical Ballet Academy in Ufa, Russia. He has performed extensively with the Ufa Ballet and the Saint Petersburg Ballet and has toured throughout Russia, Finland, Canada, North America, Egypt and Bermuda. Mr. Dzabraev was an apprentice with the Kirov Ballet on two occasions. He has been recipient of numerous awards at national and international dance competitions including the Second International Festival of Moscow where he was awarded first place, and the Rudolph Nureyev Ballet Competition where he was a finalist. Mr. Dzabraev has recently traveled to Kingsport from St. Petersburg to become Artist in Residence for Kingsport Ballet. His duties include teaching boys' classes, partnering, ballet and performing in KB productions.
