Kingsport Ballet is known in the southeast as a premiere classical ballet school and
company, specializing in full-length ballets. The company performs in venues throughout the
Tri-Cities, and hosts guest artists from around the world.
Artistic Director, Valeria
Sinyavskaya, received her training in the famed Classical Ballet Academy
of Kiev under Galina Berezova, prized pupil of Agrippina Vaganova.
She has taught, directed, and choreographed in the U.S. and abroad and teaches
the celebrated Vaganova method, known to have produced dance legends
Mikhail Baryshnikov and Rudolf Nureyev.

News Update
We've Moved!!! - Construction and remodelling are going on at a rapid clip to get the new studio ready for the start of the fall semester at Kingsport Ballet! Our new studios are located at 201 Cherokee Street in downtown Kingsport, TN. If you are unable to come down to the site and help with the renovations please consider supporting our efforts via our support page.
The Angelina Ballerina camp goes on at the Renaissance Center Little Theater! Since we are going to be in mid move in July the summer classes for 3-4 year olds and 5-6 year olds will be held off site at the Renaissance Center beginning this Tuesday, July 6.
