Kingsport Ballet is known in the southeast as a premiere classical ballet school and company, specializing in full-length ballets, offering high quality instruction in all forms of dance. The Company performs in venues throughout the region, and hosts guest artists from around the world. Artistic Director, Valeria Sinyavskaya, received her training in the famed Classical Ballet Academy of Kiev under Galina Berezova, prized pupil of Agrippina Vaganova. She has taught, directed, and choreographed in the U.S. and abroad and teaches the celebrated Vaganova method. Eight other professional instructors round out the program, offering something for everyone.
