Frequently Asked Questions
7. I purchased tickets in advance and now I cannot attend. Can I get a
refund?
No. Ticket sales are final. But it is highly advisable to share your
tickets with someone who can use them. If this is not possible, calling
the box office and letting them know you cannot attend makes it
possible for someone else to take your seats in order not to have empty
or wasted spaces – particularly if your reserved seats were in prime
seating areas.
8. I would like to purchase tickets but I live out of town and
will not
have a chance to go by and pick them up. How do I get my tickets?
Easily. We accept major credit cards. You may pay by phone and then we
will hold your tickets at the “will call” table. Arrive at the theatre
30 minutes before curtain. Your tickets will be waiting for you with
your name on the envelope.
9. I know someone who will be dancing in a ballet. What is the protocol
with flowers or greeting cast members?
It is customary to present flowers, or one single flower, to a favorite
dancer after the performance. Dancers will normally come out to the
foyer of the venue to meet their audience.
10. We have a big group of friends coming to the ballet to see our
daughter. Can she come out afterwards so we can take pictures?
Yes, but NOT in costume. A dancer’s stage attire is strictly for the
stage. It is not acceptable to come out into the audience or the foyer
wearing a costume. It is absolutely prohibited for a dancer in costume
to come out into the audience after he/she has finished dancing in
order to sit with their friends or family to watch the remaining
ballet. All dancers remain backstage until the performance is over.
