The School - Dress Code
Dance Movement
- pastel leotard, white ankle socks, pink canvas ballet shoes
(skirts permitted).

Preparatory Ballet I/II
- pink leotard with spaghetti straps and attached skirt (avaialble at KB Ballet Boutique), white ankle socks, pink canvas ballet shoes.
Ballet I
- white tank-style leotard, white ankle socks, white dance trunks, white skirt, pink canvas ballet shoes.

Ballet IIA/IIB/IIC
- white tank-style leotard, white ankle socks,white dance trunks, white skirt, pink canvas ballet shoes.
Ballet IIIA/IIIB
- white spaghetti-strap leotard, pink tights, white dance skirt, pink canvas ballet shoes with sewn ribbons (tank style accepted for 08-09).
Ballet IVA/IVB
- black leotard, pink tights, pink canvas
ballet shoes with sewn ribbons. Warm-ups must be fitted, in light pink or black knit. No street clothes allowed in class.
Ballet V/VI
- black leotard, pink tights, pink canvas
ballet shoes with sewn ribbons. Warm-ups must be fitted, in light pink or black knit. No street clothes allowed in class.

Ballet (Boys/Men)
- white t-shirt, black or white bike shorts or fitted black pants/leggings, white ballet shoes.
Jazz (Girls/Ladies)
- black leotard, black jazz pants or black tights, black jazz shoes. No street clothes.
Jazz (Boys/Men)
- White t-shirt, black jazz pants, black jazz shoes
Modern
- Black or pink footless tights, black leotard, modern shoes

Adult Ballet
- dancer discretion
Pilates/Yoga
- comfortable exercise wear, no shoes, mat
Ballroom
- Ladies - Skirt, leather sole shoes (character or ballroom shoes ideal) are best. Men: Dress shoes or other smooth sole shoes.

- No bright colors, lycra or puffy sleeves. Basic is best.
- Leg warmers and ballet sweaters are allowed during barre exercises. These should be only white or pink or black.
- HAIR: Prep I through Ballet IIC should wear two buns above the ears. Ballet III through VI should wear there hair in a single neat bun. Hair must be pulled back neatly in a ponytail for modern and jazz.
