2007-2008 Senior Company

Lauren Lowe is a seventeen year old senior at Dobyns Bennett. She started dancing at a very young age, and has kept her passion for the art as she has grown older. She has studied primarily under Valeria Sinyavskaya, and is in her fifth year at Kingsport Ballet. Lauren has also received instruction from Erika Ballard, Becky Hall , Rostislov Dzabraev, Giana Jigarhan, Theresa Weatherford, Dorothy Ratcliff, Melita Brock-Warner, and Tina Yarborough Liggins. She has attended the prestigious Kirov Academy of Ballet's summer intensive for the past two years, where she studied under Vladimir Djouloukhadze, and Ludmila Morkovina. Lauren has also attended Tennessee Association of Dance conferences for the past three years, and yearly Kingsport Ballet summer workshops. Outside of dance, Lauren maintains high grades and enjoys spending time with friends, cooking, and reading.

Grace Macdonald is a sophomore at Dobyns Bennett High School. She has been dancing with Kingsport Ballet for 13 years. She has participated in all the company?s productions and in yearly Tennessee Association of Dance workshops.Grace has attended yearly summer workshop intensives at Kingsport Ballet, where she received instruction from Sergei Gorbatov, Tina Yarborough- Liggins, Nina Maria Lucas, Zina Mamedova-Kohoutova and Giana Jigarhan, in addition to artistic director, Valeria Sinyavskaya. Grace has attended the Alabama Ballet?s summer workshop intensive in 2005 and 2006, under the direction of Wes Chapman and Roger Van Fleteren.

Amanda Windes is a homeschooled junior. She has been a dancer with Kingsport Ballet for 9 years. She has attended Tennessee Association of Dance workshops and yearly Kingsport Ballet summer workshops. Amanda has studied under Sergei Gorbatov, Tina Yarborough-Liggins, Zina Mamedova- Kohoutova and Giana Jigarhan, in addition to artistic director, Valeria Sinyavskaya. In addition to dance, Amanda plays violin with Youth Symphony Orchestra.
