2007-2008 Senior Company

Kaitlyn Bass is a freshman at East Tennessee State University. She has been studying ballet for fifteen years and has been a member of Kingsport Ballet Company for six years. She has performed in Kingsport Ballet’s productions of The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, and Giselle. She has attended summer intensive workshops at Bossov Ballet, Kingsport Ballet, The Sarasota Ballet of Florida, and Tennessee Association of Dance.  In April of 2007, Kaitlyn traveled to St. Petersburg, Russia, with Bossov Ballet, to participate in the International Dance Open where she took master classes with renowned Russian dancers, teachers, and choreographers.  She has studied with Valeria Sinyavskaya, Rostislav Dzabraev, Erika Ballard, Andrei Bossov, Natalya Getman, Pat Holden, Noel Dillow, Istvan Pono, and Jane Anderson. Kaitlyn hopes to transfer to the University of Georgia next fall to pursue degrees in Arabic, Choreography, and Russian.

Erica Dew has received her ballet training primarily from Valeria Sinyavskaya. She has attended Kirov Ballet Academy in Washington, D.C. for summer intensives for two years, where she studied under Jacqueline Akhmedova and Vladimir Djouloukhadze. Additionally she has studied with Rostislav Dzabraev, Erika Ballard, Giana Jigarhan, Sergei Gorbatov, Zina Mamedova-Kohoutova, and jazz and modern with Becky Hall, Nina Maria Lucas and Tina Yarborough Liggins. Erica has attended yearly Tennessee Association of Dance workshops. She is in her eleventh year with Kingsport Ballet and in her fifth year in company, and has performed in Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, and yearly productions of The Nutcracker. Erica is a sophomore at Dobyns Bennett High School where she is a member of Impact Showchoir. In addition to dance, Erica loves music, photography and watching movies.

Hannah Friant is a sophomore at Dobyns Bennett High School. She has been a student at Kingsport Ballet for 9 years and a member of the company for five years. Hannah has participated in all of Kingsport Ballet full-length productions and has attended yearly summer workshops. She has studied under Sergei Gorbatov, Zina Mamedova-Kohoutova, Giana Jigarhan, Erika Ballard, Becky Hall, Nina Maria Lucas and Tina Yarborough Liggins, in addition to Kingsport Ballet artistic director Valeria Sinyavskaya. She has attended yearly Tennessee Association of Dance workshops.
