August 1-6 (10am-1pm) and August 8-13 (10-1, 5-7pm) - Fall Registration

August 15th, 2011 - Fall Classes Begin

August 20th, 2011 - Company Auditions

  • 10-11:30 - Jr. Co (non KB dancers ages 11-14 and on pointe min. 1 year)
  • 11:30-1 - Sr. Co (non KB dancers 14 and up, on pointe min. 3 years)

    • August 27th, 2011 - Nutcracker Auditions

  • 10a-11 - 7-10 yo candidates
  • 11a-12 - 11-14 yo candidates
  • 12-1p - 15+ yo candidates

    • October 17th-23rd, 2011 - Fall Break

    November 23rd-27th, 2011 - Thanksgiving Break

    December 1-3, 2011 - The Nutcracker at Niswonger Performing Arts Center

    December 3rd, 2011 – Clara’s Tea Party at Niswonger Performing Arts Center

    Monday, December 12th – Spring Concert contract and fees are due (please contact administration for payment monthly plan for spring concert fees).

    December 20th and 21st, 6pm – A Mini Nutcracker – Storytelling and Ballet at Kingsport’s Renaissance Center.  This one-hour performance is geared toward children ages 3-8 and is charmingly narrated by a local storyteller.  The mini ballet will feature beautiful highlights of Kingsport Ballet’s full-length classic.

    Wednesday, January 4th, 2012 – Classes resume

    March 26-April 1 – Spring Break

    Thursday, May 24th (tentative)– Spring Concert performance
